Denis Meyers

I just had the chance to catch up with Brussels based artist Denis Meyers. We know each other for more than a decade already, I believe our first encounter was in Paris when we were both touring with Kid Noize. A few years later I covered a bit his Remember Souvenir project in Brussels, providing high contrast black and white images. We had no idea how massive his project would be only a few months later. Even very recently during a dinner this project came up and different guests recalled vividly different parts of it.

We met up at his atelier where we shot a few frames for my ongoing project « Portrait of a City ». We quickly got what we needed and since we both were eager to create something more, we decided to do a different setup and shoot a few different portraits for press purposes. The two following images are what we came up with.
